This movie features the cast of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa and R. Badree. The movie shows the struggle of the Indian Cricket Team in their 1983 World Cup-winning campaign.

Sachin: A Billion Dreams –

It is a 2017 Indian movie, that clearly states what it is about. directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Shrikant Bhasi under the banners 200 NotOut Productions and Carnival Motion Pictures. The film is a documentary on the life of Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. The movie is divided into 2 parts, the first is all about the struggling days of Sachin until 1999 and the second part was when Sachin got the title of “God of Cricket”. The movie is mostly narrated by the legend himself.

Azhar –

It is a 2016 Indian Biography of Indian cricketer and former national team captain Mohammad Azharuddin. Directed by Anthony D’Souza, features  Emraan Hashmi in the title role. The movie shows the life of Azhar from his cricketing days to his downfall days as he was blamed for match-fixing but later he was given a clean chit by the court.

Shabash Mithu –

It is a 2022 Biography of an Indian cricketer. The film is based on the life of former Test and ODI captain of the India women’s national cricket team, Mithali Raj. Movie stars Taapsee Pannu in the title role. It chronicles the ups and downs and moments of glory of Mithali’s life. The film was released on 15 July 2022.

Sourav Ganguly –

One of the greatest players and the captain of the Indian Cricket team, Sourav Ganguly also known as “Dada”. A movie on Sourav Ganguly is on the cards in 2024. The cricketer himself took to social media to announce the same but we are yet to receive an official announcement soon. According to recent reports, Ayushmann Khurrana has been finalized to do the role of Dada in the movie. The movie is being produced by Luv Ranjan, a well-known personality in Bollywood.

Yuvraj Singh –

Yuvraj Singh was the key player who helped India lift the World Cup in 2011. According to the reports, it has been confirmed that the legendary Bollywood actor Amir Khan has acquired the rights to Yuvraj Singh’s life story for a film. Yuvraj Singh’s life narrative is one of overcoming hardship, exemplified by his remarkable career in cricket and his valiant fight against cancer. The fans are excited about this one as Yuvraj Singh and Amir Khan will join hands for the movie.

Jhulan Goswami –

Jhulan Nishit Goswami is an Indian former cricketer. She played for the Indian women’s cricket team from 2002 to 2022. She played as a right-arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batter. “Chakda ‘Xpress” is the name of the Biography of Goswami, the production of the movie has already begun and Jhulan Goswami’s role is being played by Anushka Sharma. The movie is supposed to be released this year. It would be really exciting to watch the life story of Jhulan Goswami played by Anushka Sharma.

Virat Kohli –

The kind of legend he is, Virat Kohli deserves a grand biography in the upcoming days. Although there are already rumors flying of Kohli’s biography has already taken off. There must be several directors trying to get the rights to make a movie about Virat Kohli. According to the reports, Tamil actor Ram Charan was approached to play on-screen Kohli, but Ram Charan’s team has denied any involvement as of now, on the other hand, Virat Kohli once said in an interview if a biography on his life would be made, he would want Ranbir Kapoor to act in it.
