Match Preview
CSK vs PBKS
It is match 8 of the IPL 2021, and it is CSK vs PBKS. MS Dhoni and his team had one of the best first-innings in the last match, but it was a very poor second-innings. They were never in the game and lost the match. Punjab Kings had their hearts in their first match against Rajasthan Royals, but in the end, they won the match on the very last ball.
Chennai Super Kings need to take more wickets. They are not the best bowling attack this season, but they have decent bowlers. In their last match, they did not pick many wickets, which allowed the opposition to take away the victory. There were so many expectations from Shardul Thakur because he is their leading bowler this time. He went for over 50 runs in the match. In the next match, they will have to bowl a lot better and take wickets. If Lungi Ngidid is available, CSK should play him.
KL Rahul, for Punjab Kings, was very impressive in the last match. He scored 91 and started playing his natural attacking game, unlike last time. He got support from Chris Gayle and Deepak Hooda. In the second innings, Samson almost took away the game from them, but sensible bowling in the death won them the match. In the next match, they will also have to take more wickets and not allow the batsmen to settle in. If they can do that, Punjab will be an unbeatable team.
Toss and Pitch
The team winning the toss will bowl first and chase the target later on. There have been high-scoring matches at Wankhede, and a score of 190 should be a par score. This score still can be chased, but with some hard work.
