Match Preview
DC vs RR
The 7th match of IPL 2021 is DC vs RR. Delhi Capitals is coming from a win against Chennai Super Kings, and Rajasthan Royals is coming from a very close game against Punjab Kings. Both the teams displayed some good cricket and have worked on areas that have been a bit of concern for them in the past. They would want to continue to play in this manner.
Sanju Samson scored a brilliant century in the last match, with 90 runs coming from boundaries. Unfortunately, he could not get his team though. Some of their other batsmen got good starts, but they could not capitalize. In a big chase, such as that one, everyone has to contribute with the bat. They would want to work on this against Delhi Capitals because the match is at Wankhede, and it will be a high-scoring game.
Delhi Capitals almost had a perfect game last time. They bowled well, and their openers did most of the scoring in the chase. In the next match, they would want to continue this. If Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi shaw get a good start, there will be a lot less pressure on the rest of the top-order batsmen and middle-order batsmen. If any one of them fails at the top, Ajinkya Rahane will come in at no. 3. He did not get a chance last time, because the opening stand was good. He is someone to look forward to in the upcoming matches.
Toss and Pitch
The team winning the toss will still want to bat first. The match is at Wankhede, and we can expect a high-scoring game once again. The par score would be 195.
